Task2

Animated Album Cover (Fly Me To The Moon)

I first found some references on Pinterest.

Then, I draw the sketches on my iPad.

I use Adobe Illustrator to create the album cover. However, I am not satisfied with background color and the text.

So, I change my background color and the text.

Below is my initial storyline, ideas + sketches

Feedback: Mr Hafiz says that it would be better for the two people to be closer together. The title also seems to have been put up temporarily, blocking the planet behind it.

After Mr Hafiz feedback, I make some arrangements. It looks more balanced now.

Then, I started to do my animation.

However, I am not satisfied with that, so I made some adjustments.

I felt like the title flying down from the top distracted me a little bit from where I was looking, so I adjusted it again.

Reflections

My experience with this task is that I do many research before I start to do my sketches. When I was drawing my sketches, I didn't think about where to put the title. So when I do the digitize, the title seems to have been put up temporarily, blocking the planet behind it. After the feedback from sir, it liiks more balance now.

I think the most difficult part is animation. This is because animation is composed of pictures frame by frame. Each frame is independent. I keep adjusting it because I am not satisfied with it. I feel like my eyes was very pain while doing animation. Seeing the final result, I am quite satisfied with that?

My findings were that I need to keep adjusting to get the most satisfactory results. I found that each frame of action can significantly enhance the visual appeal and storytelling of animation.
