In week 5, we need to film scenes using original video clips from Everything Everywhere All at Once. Below is the storyboard that Mr Martin provided.

We are to create a short video about ourself, one aspect of us, or any topic that matters to us.

The video must include shot sizes below:

• Close-Up shot 

• Frontal MCU (soft background) 

• Frontal MS (soft background) 

• ¾ angling MCU shot (with blurry/soft foreground) 

• Low angle Wide shot

After completing my proposal, I shot the video using my phone and edited it with CapCut, as Mr Martin mentioned.

Reflection

Production Shoot Reflection: Through this exercise, I slowly know how do do color correction and color grading. I think the most interesting part is shooting. I was one of the actors, which made me feel very nervous because I was afraid I might forget my lines. However, I gained a lot of valuable experience during the shoot. During the shoot, I observed how the lights were placed and how the shots were framed. This allowed me to learn these things better even though I was not directly involved in the technical aspects.

Insta/TikTok Reflection: Through this exercise, let me consolidate the various shots I learned before, which are Close-Up shot, Frontal MCU, Frontal MS, ¾ angling MCU shot and Low angle Wide shot. Beside that I also learn about short story telling. Originally I planned to shoot a vlog, but it felt too monotonous, so I kept thinking about how to make it a little more special. So I added a twist: it turned out that my whole day had been a dream where I had gone to school, felt exhausted, and went to sleep—only to realize I still had to get up and go back to school!
