Reflection

Experience

Through these tasks, I have deepen my understanding of typography. While I was working on the typographic system tasks, I looked at a lot of references to understand the meaning of each element and how to approach it.In semester1, I had only one task related to designing the fonts, and I wasn't complete all the letterforms. But now, I successfully design all letterforms. I feel like a sense of achievement I can create complete fonts, maybe someday I could make the money with the fonts haha! Besides, I also learned every fonts has its own suitable context and purpose. Exploring this helps me go into choosing and creating typefaces for different applications. Overall, these tasks help me improve my skill and knowledge about typography. 

Observation

Something I have observed is that even small changes in letterform design can significantly affect the overall expression. For example, using rounded curves can create a softer, friendlier look. This experience has enhanced my typographic skills and provided valuable insight into font design and its impact on visual communication.

Findings

I found that fonts can express the intended message or emotion. By understanding the context and purpose of the design, fonts can become powerful tools for communication. Mockup also helping me to refine and present the final concept more effectively.
