REFLECTION

What have I learnt in this module?

In this module, I learned about different design principles. Before this, when I looked at an artwork, I didn’t think about the design principles behind it. I just thought it was beautiful. However, through this module, I gained a deeper understanding of these principles. Now, I can recognize their names and understand how they are applied in each artwork. Besides, I also learned how to tell a story through artwork. By taking an artist's idea as a base and making some changes, I can create my own artwork with my own thoughts.

What did I enjoy the most?

What I enjoyed the most is when I create my artwork. I can improve my artwork through feedback. It is fun to see my ideas slowly take shape. I can see my artwork gradually get better. This gives me a sense of accomplishment haha!

What did I not enjoy the most?

What I did't enjoy the most is when I was coming up with ideas and sketching them out. It took me quite a long time to do this. I need to find many references to get more ideas for my concept. 

What have I learnt about myself through this module?

I learned that I love to see my artwork improve step by step. It gives me a sense of accomplishment! 😁 Besides, I am patient when I refine my artwork. I will try different ways to make my ideas clearer.

What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?

The thing has changed is that I think more deeply about my artwork. The thing has not change is I still make sure to submit my homework on time and complete tasks within the given deadline.

What are my aspirations?

My aspiration is to improve my design skills and expand my imagination for creating artwork.
